Goaltender Develpment
At Good Shepherd Hockey we recognise that the development needs of goalies differ in many ways from player development. To provide support to our goalies Good Shepherd brings in an accredited goalie school twice a year to provide goalie specific training.Brent Bradford of Bradford’s Goal Academy provides two 2 hour sessions at the beginning of the season and again at approximately the half way mark. Interested coaches are encouraged to attend.

Summer Goal Academies
BGA is now accepting registration for the Summer 2010 Goal and Player Academies.
Full day camps will run August 16-19 & August 23-26 at River Cree Twin Rinks.
NEW THIS SUMMER!!! Our Player Academy will run jointly with our Goalie Academy. Quality Player Instructors will provide a challenging full day curriculum of performance skating, puck control, shooting development and on and off ice conditioning, for the low cost of $225. This program is suitable for all levels and abilities.
Spots are limited to 12 players and 12 goalies per session.
SUMMER GOAL ACADEMY: Quality Goaltending Instuctors, including our leader Brent Bradford, will provide a curriculum of goaltender specific power skating, positioning and angles, and more in our full day Summer Goal Academy. This year a One Game Observation (2010-2011 hockey season) is included with you your registration. Suitable for all goaltenders, varying courses from introductory to specialized assure your goaltender will be challenged. Please register early as spots fill quickly.
